This privacy policy applies to the Fulcrum: App Usage Control app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Liyang Dong (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

Information Collection and Use

To provide features such as cloud synchronization and the virtual token wallet system, the Application collects certain information. This collection is limited to what is necessary for the Application's functionality:

• Account Information: When you sign in using Sign in with Apple, we collect the email address provided by Apple to serve as your unique account identifier. Depending on your selection during the sign-in process ("Share My Email" or "Hide My Email"), this will be either your actual email address or an anonymous private relay email address provided by Apple.
• Wallet & Transaction Data: We record data related to your virtual token balance, including recharge history (purchases) and consumption records (challenge usage). This data is linked to your account email identifier to ensure your asset security.

Data Storage and Third-Party Service Providers

The Application utilizes third-party services to securely store your account and transaction data. By using the Application, you acknowledge that your data is processed by:

• Supabase: We use Supabase as our backend database provider. Supabase adheres to industry-standard security protocols to protect your data stored in the cloud.

Account Deletion and Data Retention

You have the right to delete your account at any time within the Application settings. Upon account deletion, the following procedures apply:

• Data Anonymization: Your personal association with the account will be removed. We will irreversibly unlink your email identifier from our active records.
• Audit Retention: To maintain the integrity of the token economy and for audit purposes, historical transaction records (token recharges and usage) are not deleted but are permanently anonymized. These records will no longer be traceable to you specifically, as the associated email identifier will be hashed.

Location Information

This Application does not collect precise information about the location of your mobile device.

Data Privacy Regarding Screen Time & Challenge Data

The Application utilizes Apple's Family Controls and Device Activity frameworks to provide its core functionality (limiting app usage). We are committed to the highest level of privacy protection regarding this sensitive data:

• Local Storage of Challenge Details: All specific details regarding your "Challenges" (including which apps you selected to block, the duration of the challenge, and the real-time monitoring of success/failure) are processed and stored exclusively on your local device and your personal iCloud container.
• No External Upload of Usage Habits: We do not upload your screen time browsing history, specific app usage details, or challenge content to our servers (Supabase). The cloud database only records the financial transaction (token consumption) associated with a challenge, not the behavioral data of the challenge itself.

Third Party Access

We may share anonymized, aggregated data with third-party services for analytical purposes, but this data will never identify you personally. Your strict privacy regarding screen time usage is maintained locally.

Children

The Application is not used to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian becomes aware that their child has provided us with information without their consent, please contact us at hanyu0929@gmail.com.

Security

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards (including HTTPS encryption and secure database policies via Supabase) to protect information we process and maintain.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to their Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
